Thanks for the feedback ref the installation, I’m guessing but was it the T40 torx bit or E10 torx socket that was incorrect, if so what size did you need? 👍
Not trying to be clever, but you’re not trying to loosen the pully bolt are you? Looking at the instructions you posted it looks like a self tensioning pully, if you turn the pully bolt clockwise it should release the tension on the belt allowing for its removal. If this is what you’re already...
Admiral, they don’t seem to be modification adverse, I’ve another car insured with them that has quite a lot of mod’s and in that case there’s no additional premium for any of the mods.
Well I’ve not quite decided what to do yet, but just in case I ran this past my insurance company to see what it would add and it came out at £8 extra for the year, happy with that.
Thanks for answering my question, much appreciated. I’m guessing you’re happy with it then. I’m going to give it a bit of thought over the weekend and perhaps do something next week.
This would be fantastic if someone did a fitting guide, as this would determine if I got one or not, for me it has to be something I could fit and remove myself.
That's a great result thanks for posting the update. Quick question, hopefully it's not daft one, but does the cars power gauge/display still max out at 360bhp or does it show your new figure. Thanks
I replace the battery in my fob a few months ago and there was no procedure required on completion, it just worked. Did you get the "Remote key battery low" message on the display? I did, or did it just stop working.
I thought the Mod's might have stepped in by now.
1. No politics in any part of the forum. This isn’t a complicated rule and it is one that we enforce aggressively. Don’t talk about politics, don’t refer to politics, no political memes, just don’t do it. There are others places you can have...
Yep, totally agree, is a shame but at least you can say you've had one and hopefully you managed to enjoy a few miles in it. Any way have you any plans to replace it with anything else.
Ah, I see, that makes sense. There was a thread on Pistonheads recently where a guy rejected a Porsche at just under six months, I think it took a bit of pushing by him but he did get a refund, though I think there was a slight deduction for the mileage he'd done.
