Happened to me last weekend on a warm day (300mi on the odo).
Parked car for maybe 20 minutes; came back and won't start (only accessories turn on).
After a few stop start button presses for a couple minutes, unbuckled seatbelt, open door then it started.
I had no check engine light though...
Tapped the rear-view USB wire for R8 detector and changed the steering wheel buttons.
Also a good day for a drive. Slowly adding miles for run-in and admiring the protective layer of brake dust.
Though after parking for a few minutes it didn't want to start! 😬.
Warm day but nothing crazy...
That did it, thank you!!
I was yankin' on the bottom side (thought the diagrm showed bottom piece is where the cilp needs to be pulled free).
The big piece just kind of fell/popped out with little to no effort as overs have shown.
That wolfbox is pretty cool; looks very straight forward to...
Saw that https://fidanza.com/ has it for $312 +shipping (even though site says >$300 ships free).
Though I'm not familiar with the site, so don't know if it's legit.
+1 on the Address for meet up location prior to North Route start.
Also, anyone know how the tour works? I've done organized ones for PCA where we roll out in specific groups with leaders. This one seems like it's every man for themselves, could be chaotic :)
Is the best place to buy these from hawk directly? Googling shows certain stores have some discounts.
I'm planning on buying multiple sets, discounts would be welcomed :)
haha, I thought I was crazy too. Thought it was the door speakers and maybe even brake pedal, but sure enough random popping (especially coming to a stop) behind the driver's seat (no music on). Noticed this first day I got this car and still persist though only at 200mi.
I just picked mine up yesterday from PPF. Went straight from dealer to PPF shop on a truck bed; there were bad swirl marks where PDI folks obviously try to clean up. PPF shop did paint correction prior to wrap (the black areas were the worst parts). Edit: to add I can not for life of me see...
