haha, I thought I was crazy too. Thought it was the door speakers and maybe even brake pedal, but sure enough random popping (especially coming to a stop) behind the driver's seat (no music on). Noticed this first day I got this car and still persist though only at 200mi.

I just picked mine up yesterday from PPF. Went straight from dealer to PPF shop on a truck bed; there were bad swirl marks where PDI folks obviously try to clean up. PPF shop did paint correction prior to wrap (the black areas were the worst parts). Edit: to add I can not for life of me see...

I, too ordered well before my car delivery. Wish they also offered aluminum/metal paddles instead (like the Porsche ones) since carbon feels out of place. I figured the satisfying click will overcome that :)

How's the vent removal? I'm under the impression it's not as clean/easy as say a 718.

My shop originally did single sheets but they said cars from earlier wraps started to lift due to the heat from the vents, so they opted to add relief cuts like a lot of other shops instead of using extra amounts of of promoter/adhesive (fear of paint damage if/when needing to remove). Can't say...

Same! First was Christmas delivery, then before new years, then nothing. Been annoying trying to lock down time w/ my PPF installer with dates that never arrive. My VIN oddly was supposed to have gone to prod in Oct come with their Nov batch, but mysteriously didn't get built but had a VIN...

Looks great, still wish they offered alternative paddle materials instead of just carbon. Thar tune for the i4 DCT? I test drove v6 auto recently and found it a tad sluggish, could definitely use some help.

yikes, even bad installers wouldn't leave edges lifting like that -- removal and refund for sure but I'd be extremely weary of the same installer removing it as to not damage any of the paint. Wonder if it's out of the question to have original installer pay for removal from new shop... Seems...

Did they give you a vin and/or in-production notice prior to leaving factory and on a boat? PPF - I only have experience with Elite Finish and Films Unlimited, though dealer said all their Astons are done at One of One down the street. Very interested in if they have a special deal with the...

Is the entire car PPF-ed? If so... curious how they did relief cuts around side vents. At first I was thinking they PPF the panels that could have the paint issue to "postpone" it or something, but that may be a stretch.
