I think to charge the dash cam battery you have to have the ignition on, or you wire the dash cam battery directly to the normal car battery, but that's going to defeat the point
I've certainly not worked out a way to have it charge the dash cam battery while on a tender
So I don't have homelink, and the little remote they give you is a faff to play with when driving. Had to find a way to make it easier to press buttons 1 and 2, but definitely not 3...
A few evenings and many attempts at the 3d printer later, I've got a new remote housing that clicks into place...
I did mention to LCC how wasteful this is, no acknowledgement of it, or really most of my email to them.
I find the "care" part is particularly lacking in my communication with them.

Has anyone installed this themselves? How hard is it? Did you need to lift the car to do so? Is it hard to get to the valve actuator once the diffuser is off?
Took me ages to get mine on and off, and then when the tracker guy came to fit the tracker he needed it off as well and similar swearing was heard 😂
No idea why it's so hard, but I figured mine was mainly the carpet on both panels causing issues
Yeah I was hoping for a home polish style solution, since the cost for a new one is pretty low, I wouldn't expect it worth it to take it to a shop.
Googling anodised aluminium polish brings up autosol but I've never heard of or used it before, worth a shot maybe
