Thank you for the reply. I’ve tried all of that apart from renewing the tracker. Dealership was coming to collect (next week) but as it now won’t start the AA have to come and get it and winch it onto a trailer

If I’m not allowed to change the gear knob over myself without affecting my warranty, I doubt you will be allowed to change the oil for anything other than the same stuff Lotus use.
So my car will have been at the dealer for 3 weeks. They have apparently managed to successfully update some of the software. The lady on reception was unable to confirm whether the wiper update had been done. More frustrating the car is coming back with the gnarled gear knob and the door...
