When I ordered the JUBU 440 kit, there were two options - 6,800 RPM limit or 7,200 RPM limit. I specified the 7,200 RPM limit but going beyond 7,000 RPM is still not possible.
Once in a while, the revs will drop too low when coming to a stop in touring mode with the clutch engaged and the...
I’d say stock 718S vs JUBU 440 Emira would feel pretty close, with an edge going to the JUBU 440 Emira on the top end. My tuned 718S had such a large wallop of torque down low that didn’t die off until higher RPMs so it felt like it had more of a shove versus JUBU 440 Emira.

It is not plug-and-play; I understand each one must still be tuned remotely. I was one of the first to get one in the US, and I've had several tuning sessions with JUBU since taking delivery of the ECU last August. My ECU is about 85%-90% of the way to being a "polished product," IMO.
I had a 718S, first stock, then tuned. It’s 100% the torque curve. The Emira is gutless down low compared to the 718S. The turbo shove of the Porsche is apparent as low as 2,000 or so RPM, while the Emira needs to get above 4,000 RPM or so before it starts moving. I had my Emira stock for...
I owned a tuned 991.2 GTS a few years ago and I’ve been recently thinking how nice it would be to own another one again, but the move would necessitate me selling either my Emira or my 111RS Elise. Porsches do everything well, and at or near the limit, they are incredible driving experiences...
Congrats!!
The Emira and the Elise are a great combo…ask me how I know 😆
I live just a couple of miles from Laguna Seca..hoping to get the Emira there soon.
For what it’s worth, I noticed a dramatic improvement in my shifter after 3,000 miles. I now have 3,500 miles on the car and it is a joy to operate the manual transmission. Before 3,000 miles, it was quite difficult getting into 1st and 2nd and now it feels very natural and slick.
Thanks for the update. I still haven’t heard from JUBU that their plan is to come to me and tune everyone’s ECU. It would be good to get confirmation on this, so please let me know what JUBU says.

If you send it to me, please send me the tracking info via private message. Sounds like we are still waiting on JUBU for confirmation that this is the plan.
I have their shiftR111 2.0 upgrade on my Elise and it is a huge improvement. I would not hesitate to get one for my Emira if they could offer a similar upgrade. The company (InoKinetic) worked on my Elise quite extensively and they do great work.
Sold my 1994 Miata R Package (no power steering, no ABS, limited slip) with a turbo kit on it..bought it for cheap and sold it for cheap. Great drivers car, a lot of fun.
Also had an E30 BMW with motor and tranny from an E36 M3…again bought cheap and sold cheap.
Timing was not good to keep...
