Wait how are you getting yours so quickly? Am I doing something wrong? I probably placed my deposit earlier than you I think in March. I still have not even been given an allocation to do the second deposit.
I guess I dont mind, if it takes too long I wouldnt even mind a used one although I would prefer to have my car delivered in spring and not winter esp because out here in Chicago I dont really want to drive it in the winter. Especially with the road salt.
I placed my deposit march 2024. My dealership in Illinois essentially is saying that they have no idea when my allocation will come. I was initially told that an allocation would come in december/january most likely - I also thought there were more lotuses being made but it still seems like...
I know the Exige and Elise had this function where you could remove the roof. It would be awesome to have something like the Corvette where the roof is easily removed. I know it sounds crazy but that is the one thing I wish the Emira had that it doesnt- otherwise its the perfect car for me...
My dealer has said that their representative at Lotus has said there are no plans to discontinue it anytime soon. I obviously take that with a grain of salt.
I placed a deposit just this last May. They said they are aiming to have a v6 auto to TEST drive in December. Which is around when they said they would likely have an allocation for me. I am expecting if I follow through on the allocation for it to arrive in april or May of Next year.
My dealer says they think my allocation would come around Q1 of 2025 for a v6 automatic in the US. I am not in a rush to have a car but I am curious if since the launch in the UK and the launch abroad if some of these issues that are already known are being fixed? Or are they just continuing to...
Sorry I didn't want to bog the post down with too many details but this is informative. The lease would be through a business. I WANT to own the car but people are telling me it might be worth to lease it first and then buying it out in 3 years. Their rationale is that if it is a lemon or there...
I am in the process of getting an Emira but first wanted to explore my options a bit. One question was if I should lease or buy the Emira?
Also I have not been able to find any estimates on what a lease payment versus a finance payment would be so if someone could help me with that information...
I appreciate the comment! I do not think I would be looking for performance upgrades at least in the near future! I really am not a track guy nor do I particularly have the desire to become one! It does sound really fun! I think I am leaning more and more towards automatic but if the production...
Thanks!
I see! I definitely would practice on another car for a while with an instructor before I jumped in the Emira but I think if they are both reliable and my family would be able to use it as well that is probably a big enough plus for me to go for the auto.
