If you look really closely on the car cover it says bespoke upside down on the crest.

I think the bespoke announcement was a while ago. It’s livery etc… like the old JPS Evora (which I love).

Announcing and launching isn't the same thing -- likely this is launching for order process. They announced in April that China would get it first so this is why it's being presented in China.

As far as I know, it is street legal, comes with factory installed spoiler and bodykit which is kind of a big deal in China as any aftermarket spoiler is not "legal". No details on performance yet, but I guess we won't see a R spec on the emira.

I saw some Chinese Lotus dealers are taking orders for Emira X. It's supposed to be road legal version of the GT4.
