Aftermarket wheels for the Emira

Have you been brave enough to check if an 18inch wheel will clear the brakes?
We had done 18inch lightweight alloy forged wheels to our motorsport team customers and you need to modify the real parking brake to different places to clean the wheels.

Hadn't factored in the parking brake!

Decided to bite the bullet and ordered my third set of custom wheels from Signature a few weeks ago. They just sent me this photo before they get shipped out. I wanted bronze or gold wheels, but didn't think they would go well with Nimbus, so stayed true to the "classy spec" theme and went with their new Satin Brushed Aluminum finish.

Signature SV504
20x8.5 ET47
20x10.5 ET41

This design is a little heavier duty than the SV104 which I already have on my daily, so probably sacrificing 1-1.5lbs per wheel, but I didn't want two cars with the same wheels. These will likely still save around 22-24lbs, look much more premium, have more aggressive flush offsets, and certainly be stronger than OEM.

Will update with weights and more photos when they arrive.

Can't wait to see them installed!

Haven't had a chance to take proper photos yet but someone posted a few photos from Cars and Coffee last weekend. The wheels are super high quality and all I need now is a ~20mm lowering and the fitment will be perfect.

Would that be the Satin Titanium?
No. I specified a color I’ve had on another car. Technically it’s called Forged Charcoal, and it’s pretty much the color of brake dust. You can drive the car hard all weekend and barely notice the dust. If I like it on the Emira I’ll repaint the silver Oem wheels forever use.

Looking at my post I meant I’ll repaint oems for winter use.

The guys at GRP were very accommodating for a special color.

I got my GRP wheels mounted today at Gator and they are perfect. I love the look of the wheel and the color works great with Nimbus. Pics don’t completely do it justice since Nimbus is hard to photograph. Anyway, here are a few pics.

OEM silver vs. new color (Forged Charcoal, but I call it Brake Dust Gray).

BTW, I’m always impressed with the extreme wheel care that Gator uses to prevent any blemishes during mounting and balancing.

Looks awesome...remind us what offsets you went with f/r.

Thanks!

It only pushes it out by 5mm.

*** I originally wrote the wrong offsets and have corrected ***

That's GRP's standard wheel offset and only pushes it out by 5mm.
Standard offset are +57 and +54 so those would be pushed 10mm wider per side. Those wheels look great, I almost ordered them myself.
