Hi,

As the title says, what`s the difference between Osmium silver and normal silver?

Thanks

Osmium is a much brighter silver

Some say there a hint of blue in the right lighting. When I saw an admittedly dusty one it looked like a nice bright neutral silver to me. There doesn't appear to be any blue metallic in it but its definitely a cooler tone than Nimbus.

Covered in other threads (check out the Osmium Silver photo thread) but as an owner I can attest to a subtle blue tint, most notable when parked next to a standard silver or white car.

I don't think its as dramatic as the elemental samples. But yes, Osmium is a bright silver.

I almost purchased Osmium, but 1. I already have a silver car and didn't want the two to sit next to each other (the Evo would not fair well in the comparison) and 2. Wife thought the Osmium was a bit too 'shouty' as Silvers go. In retrospect I think the 2nd issue was not so big and she would have adjusted in time, but was enough to sway my thoughts.

Osmium is very blue to me -- similar to the honda blue-silver of the 1990s. It's a relatively "cold" silver too.

Nimbus goes the other way -- more towards a flatter clay colour and sometimes looks like pewter. Much warmer.
