My wife also did the test drive! I'd agree with @TomE - very similar to the Evora yellow. I think its the best colour for the upper black pack, too.

First introduced as an M100 colour in the early 90s and on the last of the Esprit’s I believe.

There was a “Lotus Yellow” available on the Elite and original Elan, which looks very similar. But I think you’re right and the first reference to Mustard or Norfolk in a colour was M100 and Esprit.

Of course there have always been yellow lotus. The original Lotus Yellow known with paint code 07 was a very lemony yellow and sometimes refered to as Lemon Yellow. At the beginning of the 70s Lotus introduced Bahama Yellow along side this which was almost orange. The yellow with a hint of orange, known as Norfolk mustard was a 90s colour. Of course all Lotus were painted as they came through the factory so over the years there were variations based on paint availability. Snapshot of some codes below.

Found these on Reddit. The more I see the Hethel yellow without the upper black pack the more I am starting to think if I made the right choice in selecting it. I wonder if changes something like that will cause a delay to my delivery?

From talking to LCC earlier this week, I believe if you are a V6 FE customer then any change is likely to result in a delay.
