So where and when do you all want to meet up for the drive to Carlsbad? I’m thinking 7:30 am somewhere in south county off the 5 since that would be on the way for everyone and we are probably all spread out around OC (I’m near the 55 and Katella).

PERFECT!! I remembered reading about this but it skipped my mind, thanks for the reminder. I am going to try to make this one work! If I do, I'll let you know @squish and thanks for the group drive from OC offer. @T6061 you up for this? :)
Awfully early in the morning for me but if I can rally it sure looks like fun. Need to rep osmium silver!!

May I suggest the parking lot at the Outlets in San Clemente in front of Rockwell's Bakery and Cafe? It's where the Cars and Coffee is held every Saturday.

Sounds like a plan! Glad to have you onboard @T6061 ! Looks like about 30 minutes to the windmill from there (assuming my recollection of the Pendelton speed traps, if they still do that :ROFLMAO: )? And we are supposed to arrive at 9. So maybe set our target arrival time at Rockwell's to be around 8 to 8:15? What do you think?

When I suggested 7:30 it’s because I was mapping from my house, which is further north. I’m fine with whatever makes sense. We should leave a little extra time to gas up in Carlsbad.

Good call and good catch. I mapped the round trip for me and it's about 220 miles so I prob won't need the gas stop but would probably be a good choice anyway for peace of mind. Looks like there's a Chevron and a Mobil right at the intersection where the windmill is. Since they've set the arrival at 9am and departure at 9:30 we have some time there but if we wanted to arrive a bit earlier, I'm good with that too.

So we are all meeting at 8 am at the Northern Route correct on Sunday.
Just reiterating for anyone who may be new and doesn't want to read the threads lol
It's going to be awesome meeting other owners from the forum!

I thought we were meeting at 8 AM at Rockwell's Bakery for the drive down from OC to the Northern Route starting point in Carlsbad which starts at 9 AM.

+1 on the Address for meet up location prior to North Route start.

Also, anyone know how the tour works? I've done organized ones for PCA where we roll out in specific groups with leaders. This one seems like it's every man for themselves, could be chaotic :)

This is correct. For those that want to drive down together from OC to the Carlsbad starting point, meet at Rockwell’s at the San Clemente outlets at 8 am.

Rockwell’s Cafe & Bakery
101 W Avenida Vista Hermosa
Unit 116
San Clemente, CA 92672

Those that don’t want to drive down together just need to be at the Carlsbad Windmill at 9 am.

The drive organizers require $20 cash from every participant, so make sure to bring that.

Anyone here planning to attend originating from the San Diego area?

That's much clearer thank you 🙌
