If you keep the car locked and disconnect the battery, when you reconnect the alarm will sound no? It does for me. Boy is that alarm piercingly loud

Does it sound like marbles in a tin can at low speeds. If so it’s normal.

Do folks that garage their cars also get the paint blistering? Or just those that are exposed to the elements more frequently?

Has to be a software issue. If you haven’t already, can you try to wait 30 seconds for the screen to boot up and connect to whatever it needs to connect to before you try to fire it up?

Lotus on pulling the plug on the v6… They haven't done it yet. They may do it. If this doesn't work out, probably they will do it. They would almost say definitely. 😂

Yeah for sure. I think people are truly dreaming that the Emira will get a 450+ engine here in the states. If lotus wanted to, they would have. They can’t with emissions. The cost of doing so wouldn’t justify the cost. Theyre bleeding money. Ex US have a chance at getting higher HP cars just...

Nice! The race ramps were stable? I looked into them before but it said 1500 pounds per ramp and didn’t want to risk it

I never really found it hard to drive with a square wheel, it’s just feels a little weird. This wheel is great, I really just like the looks of the alcantara and the traditional round steering wheel. Just need to make sure I keep it clean

Just curious, Have you checked the carpets to see if they are damp? On my Evora after a hard rain water would find its way into the cabin and soak the carpets. Turns out it was the “cheater seal” on the window.

Yep that’s right on both accounts including the alarm part. Once you reconnect they battery it’ll sound loud as hell lol

for US cars it’s behind the drivers seat on the right side of the back seat section. It’s tough to remove the panel but you need to pry it off and you’ll find a wire with a loop that will manually let you open the trunk
