What did you do to your Emira today?

I have. Not sure how much extra sound there is but when you have a look at the stock y-pipe and how it's bent, you will understand why an aftermarket one makes sense
Im sure the engine breaths better with it.
There is no CEL? Thanks

That’s the biggest issue for going 600hp or more with an Emira and having to swap the glass for the louvred hatch.
Wha? Why is there a HP to "no glass" requirement. Not that anyone is going to push 600hp any time soon without forged internals and a different transmission. But...the passive cooling cannot be that large to warrant determined removal of the glass.

Started it (it lives in condo garage and there’s a lot of snow on the roads), let it warm up while I did some errands around the garage with trash, recycling etc.

Then I put it in first and pulled into an open area. Cleaned the leather and applied leather conditioner/ protectant. Listened to a new album.

Put it in reverse and back in its spot after scorpion app confirmed battery was at 14.3. Probably ran 30 minutes or so.

Still a lovely thing and in great shape with no visible wear at 4500 miles.

It was more fun when I could actually drive it, though.

Patiently waiting for a good rain to get rid of some salt. Hopefully before March!

Cringe...
Damm - salt is a true enemy. Imagine road spray coating the aero vents, radiator wheel areas and engine compartment contents. Were you also testing PPF?

Gave the Emira a wash and then installed the puddle lights I got from Taobao. Looks awesome. Such a good mod for $30

Note: I intially installed these lights with the text facing the opposite direction (because it only fits one way) which looked funny so I had to pull the harness tightly (the harness has virtually no slack) so I can get more slack and rotate the connector.

Have you got a link to them?

Ran some errand, went looking for a new car for the wife, parked in numerous dealership forecourts, had just about every Salesman/woman come out and have a look at it(even got some nice comments).
Other buyers at the dealerships were less forward, but a few commented "Nice McLaren" :)
Cross referencing the other thread about how dull other cars are, my experience of the weekends endeavours is, I completely agree. Not a damn thing Iiked, although the wife likes the Volvo EX30.

I didn’t do anything with mine as it’s still in the garage for the warranty work. I was pining for it, so I ended up going to Hilton and Moss in Bishops Stortford to scratch the Lotus itch. Their Emira GT4 is something to behold. They also seem to be trying to corner the market on Elise, not to mention Aston’s…..

Took it for a spin in the mountains this morning with my buddy…
