If the garage doesn’t need to be modified to add height, I don’t know why it wouldn’t be allowed. It’s not permanently affixed and came with casters so the entire lift can be moved if needed.
I took delivery of my US I4 on 12/23 and had this as well as other software based issues. The dealer made four updates about a week ago that fixed everything but the turn signal fault issues. It's less frequent, but still happens with both left and right turn signals. It's either a glitch that...
I am currently going through something similar. I took delivery on 12/20/24 and returned to the dealer 1/6/25 to have PPF and tint done. When the installer attempted to cover the rear with PPF, he noticed a spot that wasn't painted (about two inches wide) on one of the panels close to the rear...
Covercraft says they are working on all weather mats for the Emira. They told me to check back in a month or so, at which time they should be available for purchase.
My dealer could only provide me the VIN once the car was unloaded from the ship and loaded onto a truck for transport. Other dealers were able to provide a VIN earlier. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a standard.
My I4 (4073) was just delivered to the dealer (MAG Columbus) this morning. It will take a few days for inspection, cleaning, etc. but I'm going to see it this afternoon. So excited!!
How many vehicles are on your policy? I will have 3, including the Emira. I think $828 for a newer Audi, Mercedes and now Lotus is very reasonable. Hopefully Geico didn’t make a mistake.
Yes, my sales person estimated 7-10 days for transport plus a couple of days for PDI. That was Monday so it’s possible I can take delivery at the end of next week.
Switched from Progressive to Geico today now that I have my I4 VIN and my premium only went from $720 to $828 (6 months) by adding the Emira. $2500 deductible, but thrilled with the premium considering what others are paying.
No VIN yet, but my dealer (MAG Columbus) called this morning to say my I4 arrived at the port in Baltimore today along with two I4 demos for the dealership. His estimate was 7-10 days from port to the dealer. I may collect it before 2025 after all.
Seconding GEICO. I won't take delivery for a few months, but just got a quote for $84/month for the Emira. The total 6 month premium would be $1175 which includes 3 vehicles: Emira, Mercedes GLB and Audi Q3.
44, married, no accidents, Ohio. I'm hoping the I4 is even a bit cheaper when it gets...
I received the same information from my dealer yesterday. I am supposedly the first deposit in Ohio (9/2021) for the I4. Hopefully this timeline holds.
I got a call from my dealer just now (MAG - Columbus, OH). He read me an email from Lotus HQ advising of a quicker than expected build of my i4. Supposedly it will be built in July or August (instead of Jan 25) with delivery expected in October or November. Finally some good news!
When I asked my dealer (Columbus, OH) about this about a month ago, he told me the residual would be around 67%. For me, it’s more advantageous to secure a good rate from a credit union like Navy Federal rather than lease.
Yes-- I originally was going to choose shadow, but I love the way the lighter colors really bring out the lines of this car. Plus, as you said, it will probably be a but more rare.
I4 FE

diamond cut wheels / yellow calipers

Spec is now locked with a January '24 production date and hopefully March '24 delivery.
I got a call out of the blue yesterday from my dealer in Ohio. I apparently will receive one of the first (if not THE first) I4 FE in the state. They said my spec must be submitted to Lotus by Sunday and then no changes would be possible after that.
My initial deposit of $2500 was paid 9/21...
Long time lurker, first time poster... I've been patiently waiting for this car since it was announced. I had my eye on an I4 First Edition since I placed my deposit, but I just received an interesting email from my dealership (bolded portion added by me):
Hi bcstmr,
I hope that all is well, I...
