Non, dealer checked on everything twice and is getting good signal from the fuel pump. They do see the codes but finds everything normal. One post here says they got a new ECU so I'm curious if that fixes it for them. I'm keeping an eye here for solutions and will have it checked out the third...
4k miles in 5 months. Been in service 3x and a total of 1.5 months out of service. First appointment was for fuel guage issue where the fuel sensor was incorrectly placed. Second time was paint peeling off from bumper. The third time was random check engine light u0109 code, hole in leather...
All my cars have always been tinted with 5% ceramic. Love the privacy and aggressiveness it gives. However, the only car I decided not to tint was the Emira. Prefer the classier and cleaner look. Even My wife agrees (she first wanted it tinted aswell but seeing it in person she agreed to keep it...
Happened to me only twice. Have about 3k miles. I've also gotten an error about "start up too quick" or something along that line error on the dash. Wish took a photo. I could tell it's maybe one or two components that did not sync properly during start up and not a crazy hardware failure since...
Wow...Definitely will be requesting a different facility to redo work. Read more than enough complaints online aswell about them.
Did SCC refund you the work they did?
Yup. Dealers here in Cali doesn't actually do the repaint. They send it to a third party facility they work with. In Galpin Lotus case, they sent my Emira to Specialty Car Craft in LA. I visited their site and they work on exotics. But with my result, Im doubting their expertise. Or just got a...
Long story short, my driver side bumper near headlights showed signs of blisters and peeling paint near the ducts. I took it to Galpin Lotus Service and was warrantied. Galpin service was great and worked with John. They were prompt and responsive. My Emira was taken to Specialty Car Craft in LA...
Right now Brooklyn Gray , Pearl White , and Cyber Orange
My vivid red emira & Cyber Orange Bronco sticks out about the same. 5 years ago my driveway and garage was all Pearl White cars. We wanted to be demure in the neighborhood.
Welp!
Seems to be going downhill from here for me for my Vivid Red. Just noticed paint peeling and bubbling on driver side bumper inlet. Luckily it's very hard to notice unless you duck down to inspect it.
What's going on here? Kind of hard to see but there is a bubble on top of the peeled...
Is there any way to keep the ambient lighting on for the footwell, dash, or door handles only? Kind of a waste for them to just work when opening doors.
I know I can turn them all on with the second button on the top but the rear interior lights makes it too bright. Worse case can remove the...
Yes there are bumps coming up on each center of webbing. About four of them that I can feel and see easily. I'm also believing that it is a service tech doing. Looked into my invoice and saw that they apparently removed the bumper to check my front sensor issue where it keeps going off. Galpin...
I surely hope this is not from service tech doing. Did find it odd that 30miles was added to my car when I picked it up. Can't really think the need to be driven so far just to check why my fuel gauge is stuck at 1/3... unless a mandatory test? Who knows..don't want to think about it that way...
My Vivid Red vin#1253 has a paint blisters now showing at front left bumper. My car arrived at the port 04/20 and picked up at Boardwalk lotus a month ago. Dropped off the car to Galpin earlier this week for Fuel sensor issue and when I got it back to inspect it, I found new blisters or cracks...
Just got my car back from Galpin to fix fuel sensor assembly issue and my car vin ending #1253 turns out has a HVAC cover installed already from factory to protect the resistor.
The day I picked up mine had EXACT issue. Fuel gauge stuck at 1/3rd. Thought maybe refuelling multiple times would reset it. Currently being serviced right now @1180 miles and tech discovered fuel sender assembly not mounted correctly (slightly askewed).
My vivid arrive on 04/20. Picked up on 06/02 in boardwalk. No paint issues so far (knock on wood). The gasket between hood and bumper is disintegrating, the tail light is rubbing to the rear bumper a bit (supposed to be a foam in between) causing some tiny scratches, and fuel gauge sensor is faulty.
I've had a Ferrari slow down to see my vivid red in the free way. Probably thinking another fellow Ferrari. But when he came close, he saw I was a pleb with a Lotus. He then pulled out and left me to dust. Other than that, almost every 5 minutes cars/people are checking it out lol
