A polished knob

Needs another coat, then it'll be done. This has to be one of the easiet "mods" you can do -- has some pop and costs practically nothing. Red nail polish and some acetone to wipe off excess.

Yep -- microfiber cloth, took care of it on the second application

I assume the design is acid etched into the knob, because I can feel the sharp edges. Not sure if I should try to polish it out, as it won't be bead blasted any more. Not a big issue, but a minor annoyance.

I did mine like this a week ago.

I have the nail polish and remover left over - 99% left. If anyone wants to do the same I can send these on - just drop me an PM.

You body your choice of course. But if that is the route you take, I've heard although manual transition is often preferred, 8-speed dual-crutch transition often feels faster...
