Added Lotus Fender Badge

favorite question people ask me
What kind of car is that?
Me: Lotus
Who makes Lotus?
Me: Lotus
So is it Italian?
Me: Hethal England
Is that in Europe?
Me: E N G L A N D!
So, it is Italian!!
Me. Yes🫣
Those who know, Know.
I've had similar conversations and I'm here in England. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Had some young lads asking me if I'd built it myself! With all the problems I've had I think I'd have done a better job. 😂

are you running spacers with your Airie wheels? or did you just increase the offset. Looking to buy for my car and would rather not use spacers.
I am running 6mm spacers, and actually waiting for the 12mm hub centric from GRP.

Nice. I was thinking of doing the bonnet/hood in a carbon fibre wrap to match my bodykit, now I've seen yours in black I can get an idea of what it would look like. More money to spend. 😏

Love the wheels and colour, again, thinking the same for mine.

The contrasting bonnet/hood ups the Emiras game somewhat, like the Porsche models that have a carbon fibre one.
Hood is actual carbon fibre, from Aerie too

Could you take another pic a bit closer showing the carbon fibre next to the paintwork, just the hood/bonnet, please? 🙏🏻
Here you go!
Not easy to see the detail of the hood, you need to zoom in, but pic looses definition once I upload it here.
Hope this helps. Price was around 1800 Eur one year ago

Very nice, I think it lifts the look up even more I'm sure many will disagree though.
I'm looking at this as an alternative to an actual carbon fibre bonnet/hood. PPF fitted by Jim at White Detail, he's on YouTube, amazing detailing videos and PPF application.

I get it…although fender badges are not unique to Ferrari. The earliest known use of fender badges on Lotus cars can be traced back to the 1950s and 1960s, when they began adding small emblems to models such as the Lotus Elite and Lotus Elan. I had a 1964 Lotus Europa in High school, and it had fender badges too.

You raise an interesting point however.
No 1964 Lotus Europa. First year was 1966.

Yes you are correct 1966. It’s been a bout 45 years since I owned that car.

I put also the yellow Union Jack on my side. I like it !
