I wanted to provide an update regarding the 2 & 3 engine surrounding group buy. We have received information from the factory regarding the production timeline. They are currently in the process of upgrading to two brand new autoclaved machines, which will result in a slight delay. However, they have assured us that the remaining engine surrounds will be completed within 15 working days.

We have also decided to introduce two set of new mold for the Emira V6 engine surround, as we have received numerous order inquiries for this product. With the addition of two autoclaved machines in production, we aim to fulfill the demand efficiently.

Carbon engine cover installed. Look fantastic not like bad pictures.
Very easy to install

How is your alignment? The rear engine cover piece did not snap in very snugly to the side pieces. Not great alignment for my install between the pieces

Mine isn't great either. The Lotus one isn't perfect, but the Aerie one has a worse alignment. I suspect you don't notice it unless you're looking for it.

That looks good. I'd say the alignment is very similar to Lotus OEM.

Discussing with Aerie through WhatsApp right now about the fitment issues. Will see what resolution they can come up with. Definitely looks off compared to the others on here that have posted pictures. Not sure how Jogon or GRP brands fit.

Agreed. Here are some close ups of mine. Im suspecting that the side piece holes weren't great alignment for where the 4 screws go so it had to bend a bit which threw off the alignment of the 2 main pieces. Waiting to hear back from Aerie.

GRP fits good but not perfect. Although to be honest I did not take pics of the before so can't confirm the fit and finish of the plastic pieces - I didn't want to reinstall since you have to unscrew all the pegs. There were some gaps but of all the people I've shown it to, no one noticed and thought it looked amazing. I kept looking at the gaps for awhile but now have moved on and don't even notice it. I give a ThumbsUp for GRP
