Aftermarket Blind Spot Monitors?

Hello, new member here, based in the US. I see many topics discussing blind spots on the Emira as well as no ADAS for US cars (FE V6 and FE i4). Has anyone had luck installing/using an aftermarket blind spot monitor system?

I would take this as a NO....And guess we will still have to Drive the car and pay attention more..
When I drive my wife's CX5 with every driving alarm a vehicle can have and Brakes screech on
when coasting behind a car..OMG ..And has the windshield projection information and you see
the Word STOP well its to late you are Stopped..
For Lazy Drivers who do not pay attention 90 % of people today , they need it.
And no other vehicle I own has this and as long as I do not dirve CX 5 much I am fine.
But you seem more anxious when first starting out in vehicles without alarms but
then you get back on your bicycle and ride and becomes the norm as you ride away.
If you need it I hope you can get it.

I don't want any of those options in my Emira, that is just more weight and more stuff to go wrong. it's not needed, same with my C8, I did not want any extra nanny aids, so glad my Evora GT has none of that stuff

I agree with you...If I could have purchased without Air Conditioning ,radio.heated/electric seat
it would be in my garage...
I use none of it what ever I drive..Ex motorcycle rider and all waste and as you said more to go wrong.

oooh, I like that idea, can I have the US offside mirror?
Being 6' 4", the seat is almost all the way back, so the drivers side wing mirror shows about half the rear wheel arch and then some road

I do run Convex mirrors on my Autocycle 3 wheelers ..
Especially passenger side of these vehicles..
Because most Autocycles do not have rear view mirrors from factory..

I have left side convex mirrors on several cars: oem UK mirror glass on 993, and oem JDM mirror glass on NSX and 300ZX and Prius wagon and now-sold GR Corolla. This solution really works great- can't beat oem quality and fit.
