Since connected with my new 2024 I4 Emira, wireless Android Auto keeps having intermittent interruptions (not disconnection) in music audio. I haven't tried anything else yet like podcasts.
I use a Samsung S23.
My Range Rover has no issues with the android auto which I use a USB dongle with. Maybe I should try using a USB dongle if it supports one.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I've not had any issues with Android Auto and interruptions playing music. I've had a few odd bluetooth disconnections but if connected the music keeps playing. This is on a Pixel 7, using Symponium as the player.

May want to check your battery for low voltage. My infotainment was acting weird and it was a low battery from sitting

I had this issue as well. Recently went to dealer and had them perform the various SW updates.

It didn't happen in 1.5 hrs of use since (and used to happen a lot), but we'll have to wait to see for sure.

Same phone, no issues. Make sure Android Auto is up to date (both on car and phone). The service still relies on your phone signal which is handed off from cell tower to cell tower as you travel. Your phone has a cell cite location update (PRL?) which occasionally should be refreshed. Hope that helps.

yes, some other threads with discussion. I experience this ..... the phone works flawlessly on all our other cars and only has intermittent issues with the Emira. I've just accepted using wired
