Bell and Colvill Opening (Surrey UK)

Brilliant! The view is blurred by the hundreds of noses that have already pressed against that window!

See you tomorrow - remember the special Emira Forum handshake :)
Meet-up protocol:
1st person challenge: For the Driver
2nd person response: Worth the wait
Handshake and chime: Soon!

Oh my days I bet you guys won’t be able to sleep 😴 💤 in the sheer excitement and anticipation of seeing an Emira out in the wild 😜
Enjoy ☺️
Shud I drive 5 hours to get a glimpse -
Lol no mine will be here soon 🔜

I'll sleep just fine. A bottle of red assures that.

I've no doubt there'll be plenty of pics for you to drool over. 5 hours = 10 hours round trip?
Be patient, soon will be sooner than you think, I hope.

Is hope the new soon??

Car looked good this morning. Finish was decent.

Overall the car looked beautiful and still has presence.

Bits I noticed:

It does have a USB power socket near the mirror.

The vents in the bonnet don’t have a grill anymore.

The wind strip size on the front wasn’t as issue for me.

The gearshift felt positive and the gear shift was short and direct. It did feel a little notchy but the car was off and the gearbox cold so doesn’t mean much.

Gear linkage is exposed.

Badge position looked good on the dash.

Seats looked great. They were nice and firm. I tried to move the lumbar support out of the way but didn’t seam able to - I could have tried for longer so it was probably just me.

All the finish looked good except the front bumper wasn’t aligned on either side by the wing. The Bell & Colvill guy said there were a couple of clips missing.

Ride height looked ok to me.

They wouldn’t start the car so no idea on engine sound.

Met a few forum guys - all were cool and very positive about we were looking at.

Can’t be far from test drives and deliveries now!

Sorry I’m not there anymore. Personally I think yellow would look better unless you have a magma car.

Awesome photos, thank you!

Do you have any more photos you could share of the red seats and interior?

Never thought I’d like red seats but they don’t look too red, quite a stylish combination. Unfortunately I’ve gone black for durability. Looks like your daughter is testing the short throw on the gear stick 😄
Like a few people have said, I don’t think there are any bad combinations. This spec wouldn't be my choice but it looks great.

How tall are you? Seems like head room may be a bit tight??

Great photos, thanks for sharing. Any mention on test drives?
This car is going back to the factory for some tweaks. All UK dealers are going to get one demo car each, and all in the same week. Expected to all have them by 14 Oct, then test drives in the first two weeks prioritised for people in Month 1-3 builds.

The car looked great, speaking with Antonia, a loan car from Lotus HQ, B&C’s identical spec due to arrive in a couple of weeks. Good to meet some forum members 😀
