We should do a meet up for when the first batch arrive in the Fall... Then plan a bigger meet/drive in the Spring (2024).

Sadly, I just pulled my deposit. I’ll probably end up buying one on the used market. Can’t see waiting another two years for delivery (I did not make the FE allocation). So will probably buy another Vette, GT 350 or maybe an F-type. I’ve even contemplated a new MX-5 and then juicing up the motor. All things I can do right now.

I mean, if they could have just got the base configurator sorted and online, that might have moved me to hang in there. But even that’s been fraught with endless delays and half-steps.

We definitely need to meet up! Pending deliveries of course... whenever that happens!
Fall?/Winter?/Spring? Winter just might be more limited! Haha!

A popular performance upgrade is for the 2016-2018 MX5s which can be fitted with an Edelbrock supercharger that is the Emira V6's little brother. If I were going that route, I'd get Ohlins and exhaust. I currently have an NC PRHT MX5 with some (legal) modifications.

Should be enough of us now to do a Portland thing...would love to see some other specs in the Portland area

July 10th ‘21 deposit, car was on the 4/6 boat…. Still hasn’t made it on a truck to get to park place

Yeah, this last stretch has been brutal... knowing it's in Baltimore for going on 2 months... The only way I can imagine that fewer minor issues are occurring is if Lotus PDI is proactive now with parts on hand. Somehow I doubt that.

I am sure i'll love the car once its here, but this whole journey has me convinced this will be the ONE Lotus for me. As a brand, they've shot themselves in the foot with getting me to buy their other products in the future.
