According to latest reports, I MAY get my car this December, but I'm expecting it will be more like January or February of next year. I was 69 years old and still working when I placed my deposit in July of 2021. I have since retired, and I will be 72 by the time I get my car. Who knew?

Actually a 72 was the winning model of the Formula 1 car that Emerson Fittipaldi drove to win the world championship that year , also 1972. So maybe it's a good sign? Those of us in the U.S. are just waiting for the certification process to be completed so Lotus can sell us our cars.

And it was my first Lotus.
A gift from my father from a business trip to London. I was 7 years old and 2 months (maybe)
And you could exchange the stickers of the pilot, choosing Emerson Fittipaldi or Ronnie Peterson.

Those of us in the U.S. are just waiting for the certification process to be completed so Lotus can sell us our cars.

I feel you pain waiting, went through that too, but it will be worth the wait, most issues will be ironed.

I feel we have something in common. In my case the numbers are 66 and 69
