Has anyone noticed a coolant smell after shutting down car? (amg version). Only have 250 miles on car, thought it was just overflow when I first picked up in Dec, but I still smell coolant after shutdown.

Get it to dealer and hopefully just something loose with small drip ..Hopefully.. Good Luck

Hopefully where you park, will show any fluid loss on the ground/floor. If it's seeping through, it may not. Either way, check your coolant level every second day and pay attention to your engine temperature gauge. The dealer will likely ask you these type of questions anyway.

Sometimes new vehicles will have weird smells, from fluid overflow done by the manufacturer or dealer PDI process. But that should have "burned off/evaporated" after 250 miles. The only exception for me, was a vehicle (an off-road SUV; NOT a sport car) I had undercoated, where the "black sticky goo" took quite awhile to "burn off" the muffler system and it smelt terrible for much too long before then.

Good luck figuring this out!

[But that should have "burned off/evaporated" after 250 miles.]. I was thinking the same thing that's why I waited a bit.
Took off the engine cover and loosened the reservoir caps and reseated ran for 20 minutes. Checked all accessible hoses nothing of note. Didn't smell anything either, going to run up to operating temp tomorrow and observe again. Main reservoir level is at max, intercooler reservoir level was (low) an 1/8" below min, maybe the "leak' is in the intercooler loop.
First time running the engine without the cover, the right side intake duct fan pushes a good amount of air over the engine to the turbo, cover clearly is deigned to focus airflow over turbo.
