Cosmos Black Lotus Emira Photo Thread

In Sport mode the car starts braking by itself when following other cars on track:ROFLMAO: Track mode avoids this (not very helpful) “Feature”.

Not sure if there is a way to disable this assistance. It’s nice to have that bit more stability/traction control you get with Sport (vers Track mode) if you want it, but I could do without the self braking….

Car is looking sweet :cool::cool:(y)
Thx, and totally agree!

To be fair, the auto braking on the track isn’t the worst, it’s not slamming on, doing emergency braking or anything like that, but it absolutely tries to give you some space if you get remotely close to the car in front when the leading car was braking. Will have to try and capture it in a video, it’s a bit nuts. Doesn’t do it in track mode. My car is a Chinese I4 with ADAS, other markets probably don’t have this feature/function.

I wonder if the US version will have blind spot monitoring and other features
As far as I know, China is the only country that gets the full ADAS with the pod on the front. I think you only get the blind spot monitoring with this full ADAS, but best check with UK, Australia or Japanese I4 owners as I may well be wrong.

honestly, I don't want anymore electronics on this car. I'm fine without it. we already have parking sensors that have a mind of their own.

My black Lotus Emira.

Started looking for a fun manual trans car and stumbled across the Emira, not really knowing anything about it, although familiar with the Lotus brand started doing a lot of research and just seemed to check all the boxes. Most important being a manual trans :)

After a few months waiting for the right one to pop up it finally did and pulled the trigger!! I wasn’t initially looking at a black one but this Cosmos Black popped up with the diamond cut wheels I like, and for me personally I decided I really wanted the yellow calipers which just pop against the black.

Unfortunately bad timing for purchasing and delivery but excited for the weather to break to really check this thing out!

Nice choice! You don't see a lot of Cosmos Black Emiras. Welcome to the forum!

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome. Great first post!

Sweet—you will love the car! The Cosmos Black looks sophisticated and the yellow calipers add some flair. I did a 3rd cat delete and added a Miltek Valve controller and my Emira sounds as good as it looks!
