Friday will be the day! Should be ready to go tomorrow, but work commitments keep me from leaving until Thursday evening. So plan is to drive to Dallas Thursday evening and then pick the car up Friday morning and head back to Austin.

I've had several cars over the years that ran no front plate without issues. Dealer did not put the bracket on, and wasn't planning to even before I asked. My parking garage at work is a bit finicky for some cars with no front plate, so I did order the GRP bracket should I end up needing one.

Dealer left it as owner option. It is siting in my trunk. No issues with ticket for absent plate. Defense: Impedes vital air flow of foreign car design.
