Dark Verdant Lotus Emira Photo Thread

Found this on the net. Imagine this with Tan leather interior…… that is so tempting now.
It’s a very sophisticated colour and moody and the yellow just shout a little of Lotus racing. 🧐. Some serious decisions to make soon.
DV with yellow accents has returned to be my top colour choice….. so relieved.
Dark Verdant is crying out for the type 25 yellow stripe and would look fantastic. I don't get the Tan interior though.

Warm sunny day after a wash.

Something a bit different. I shot these on film, but something went wrong when I developed the film and I got a weird solarisation effect. No funky photoshopping, literally just trying to pull out as much as I can from the scans of the negatives and a digital little dodge and burn and split toning.

Yes these are B&W, but my car is DV promise!

In case there are any film shooters on here, I shot Kentmere 400 pushed to 800 in my Leica M6 + Summicron 50mm, developed in HC 110. Poor choice of developer, but just what I had. Might print the first one in the darkroom if I get a chance.

Sorry to see your front plate needs. :(

How are you liking that ice interior? Looks gorgeous!
Oh the front plate is getting swapped out for a slim black plate, it was meant to happen about two weeks ago though I got sick and had to put it back on the to-do pile.

Ice interior is great in person, looks very sleek. Obviously shows up markings, though i use good products to protect and clean, so still looking nice after around 4000kms

Temperature was around zero to one degree Celsius this morning, hope no one was hurt badly. From the videos shown on the news, the white BMW that cut in front looked like any other car on the road, and focus was clearly on the Emira. The low resolution videos suggested Shadow Grey, but from this picture it looks like Dark Verdant with matte PPF, and it looks surprisingly nice...

Had my car PPF'd last week in Bristol by Autotrilogy and it is looking fantastic. They've done a great job for a very reasonable price, can't recommend them highly enough if you're local to the area.

In July I collected the car from the dealer, thinking of doing me a favor, the seller had it polished but in reality he ruined it, two weeks ago I took it to a detailer, I attach some photos and videos of the work and of the color after it has been corrected. An important piece of advice is to remove the midges as soon as possible, otherwise they "fuse" with the paint and cannot be removed again, it seems that the paint is of poor quality and very "absorbent".

Start situation:

Holy crud. Those are so obnoxious, I almost want a pair lol. Can you imagine pulling into a gas station, and stepping out of the car in a pair of those??
