Dealer Demo cars in Europe and UK

if there are supply problems for RHD cars then it makes perfect sense to finish LHD instead - whether for demos or customers.
Great to see them finally finished.
Here's hoping for a UK vat cut now.

It's disappointing but entirely pragmatic of Lotus, it's a global car after all and Lotus need money coming in.
I'm very doubtful of my October build if the few UK dealers Lotus have haven't received their cars already; I'm just glad I'm not later in the queue as there will be more delays to parts coming.

Is it me or am I the only one from the UK that’s pissed off at customer/demo cars turning up all over Europe? Something better happen here in the UK this week or I’m going on a serious rant.

I know some of you are happy to see something happening but now this with no warning.

This circus just gets better and better.
I'm with you all the way. My Aston Martin shopping is becoming a daily ritual now so they better hurry up and get us some demo cars to test drive.

lol, NickR has turned me onto 570s Spyder , Leonard with his Porsche Spyder, myself with Aston Martin and Ferrari California T. I've expanded out my budget as the months have slipped by.

Are you going to add VW California Camper to the list now 😉😂

New to Lotus… but it’s abundantly clear…

They are very consistent in terms of CS. Sucked in the past and continue to suck now. You can depend on it.

You make Lotus sound like they manufacture world class vacuum cleaners :ROFLMAO:

I'm 540/570 shopping daily, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to now as I've hung in this long I may as well see it through. I can't help looking though.

It's probably a good thing my gt4 is proving so hard to sell

My biggest disappointment is wasting a whole summer (the best one for years), waiting for a car to turn up that was never going to arrive.
Sad 1st world problems I know.
Next year I imagine my holiday fund will be offsetting my energy bills! So currently considering turning the Emira into Campervan and keeping the Yaris for general b road hoonary. Who would have thought a VW van would cost exactly same as an Emira, the world has gone mad and us as consumers as well 🤪😅
well in order to "turn mad" the premise is you were not so in the first place.... 😉. Ive been driving for 2 days so not able to annoy anyone too much. Now I am back with vengeance, but without an Emira...
Spoke to Spanish dealer today, no surprise to find they know nothing about deliveries of either their dealer cars, and they ordered 3 of the buggers!
They also changed auto to manual to get them "quicker".....

THey did say that the believe their cars will come with ADAS as the homologation dates would have required it...... not 100% sure, but they expect it and to be honest, at this point and with all the delays and misleading info, I would hope Lotus put ADAS in all cars. Yes I know you "good drivers" dont need or want it, but for those who drive in other countries sometimes, on the other side.... its a bloody good thing to have IMO..... I certainly want it to eliminate my blind spot and give a warning before I do something stupid as its not so easy to see out the other side at a backwards angle when coming to a roundabout or junction with another angle.....

Given we don’t know if the UK Auto’s have got type approval yet, they may end up with ADAS

I’ll be happy to have it, as long as I could turn off parts of it I don’t want to use

It has crossed my mind - especially the Ocean camper

Love my Transporter, just back from southern France in it
