Dealer update - viewing and prices

I was told at Goodwood, if you look on the website they are service only. Nearest one to Hethel is the Hyundai dealer in Colchester! It’s a shame, I’m based in Suffolk and bought an Elise from Stratton and they were great. Won’t be the same going to a Hyundai dealer!!!

Colchester is the same dealer for me. I have been told that they are mid October for there roadshow. I hope it isn't just one car that they are showing

Heard from our dealer that will launch on the 26th of September ( private viewing for customers who booked the car) and on the 27th of September viewing for the general public, really cant wait for this car, will update with pics and specs once the car is realised in my Country.

My feeling is that it will be the same or similar static car I saw at Goodwood, I'm not sure it is going to tell me a great deal more. Important thing is to get specs, pricing and estimated delivery time so decisions can be made!!

For any deposit holders who have seen a link to an online roadshow booking system leaked on various forums yesterday, don't panic. This was leaked before Lotus launched it and before emails to deposit holders about roadshows for deposit holders.

It's caused a lot of confusion yesterday and this morning, and a lot of emails and phone calls to dealers and Lotus. They are contacting deposit holders to sort it out but that may take a day or two.

The leaked online system is only for non-deposit holder sessions, which will be in larger groups and less time with the car. There are separate sessions for deposit holders in smaller groups and more time with the car. Specs and pricing still due to be released next week before the first roadshow.

It’ll be a bit like the VIP area at Goodwood. Some drinks and nibbles, a presentation about the car, a guided walk around the car, sit inside with one of the factory folks to show you key stuff, Q&A session with factory and dealer staff.

Have you paid the deposit? Seems 2 events, one for people who registered interest with 1hour slots, and another for 1.5 hours for people who have paid the 2k…

Oh yes, paid on the 7th July.
I do have a feeling I'm a little lost in their system. I never received a confirmation of the deposit, so called Lotus and they said, yes, we have you, and we'll send out an email soon, that never arrived.
We'll see. As long as I eventually get a booking slot, it's cool.

Just adding that I've not had an invitation either. And I've paid my deposit.
Is this just getting me used to the level of service I should expect ongoing?
