At my annual service (4/14/25) my dealer performed DIM (Driver Information Module) and CEM (Central Electronics Module) updates. They indicated these were newer campaigns, but of course had zero information regarding what these updates actually addressed. Here's hoping that some of my Android Auto wireless connectivity and other infotainment issues are fixed!

Has anyone else recently had DIM and CEM campaigns performed and or know more information about either?

I'll report back with more information in coming days, once I get some more miles post updates.

Did they happen to provide the campaign ID or TSB number for the DIM & CEM updates?

They unfortunately couldn't have been more vague about everything........

Attached pic of my service recipient w/descriptions of the DIM and CEM updates:

This is just speculation, but I think the TSB ID could be "25143" or 131-25143?

Do you have a V6 or I4?

Example of other TSBs/Recalls:

This is useful for Lotus service centers that aren't particularly on top of everything, may be valueable for owners to refer to TSB numbers. Thank you for sharing your paperwork!

I have a FE V6 manual.

Elsewhere on the paperwork is a reference to 25144 and I took that as their goofy way of putting the date Year/Day/Month since today is April 14th 2025. Applying that logic to 25143, maybe that is when the campaigns were released?

That I can't comment on, but this is very helpful nonetheless!

Did you ask to have updates performed or do dealers automatically apply them?

I had asked them if any campaigns were available when I dropped off the car, to which they replied they'd let me know. About an hour later I was texted there were campaigns available and they proceeded to do them (I was good with that). What I wasn't so thrilled about was the utter lack of detail regarding WTF they were.

It makes me wonder if these were new campaigns or were these available last year and just not applied to my car. I suppose to be fair Lotus could have released these any time over the past 11 plus months since I picked up my car.

My car is at the workshop as well doing the annual service too and some minor issues since two weeks ago, they told me they've updated everything they found, and it was a bunch of things but they didn't specify, they update everything as standard every time a car is plugged to the PC and that there was a campaign about vehicle dynamics but i have no details whatsoever.

Last time my car was at the workshop was last year around mid-end July.

Hope your campaign was part of the updates too!!!

Some good news to report on the infotainment system post updates. It's only been a few short drives so far, but my Android Auto wireless disconnects seem to have gone away.

Lotus also seems to have addressed the issues associated with playing music via a locally attached SD card. Previous to the update it would take a full 5 minutes to index all of the music, each and every time I'd start the car. It now seems to keep the previous index and more importantly you can listen to music right away (it even picks up where you left off on a song).

I'll be sure to post any other improvements or fixes I notice!

When did these new updates come out? Are the just out recently?
Dealer implied very recently, but of course provided zero evidence of when.

Does anyone know how to lookup what specific software versions are installed/running?

Do you mean the album artwork now load faster? that used to take a few minutes but if you select folder, it comes up in a few seconds. Do you still have to switch over to the USB and then select the album/folder or does it remember which input was last used? Remembering the song you last play was there before but you still have to select the USB, then album and then you see a green dot to the right of the song you last played.

I have over 30GB of music on an SD card and each and every time I started the car it would have to index everything from scratch. While it was performing this task for roughly 5 minutes there would be nothing for me to select, just had to sit and wait until completion or go to Android Auto). Never had to manually select the USB outside of the initial play, that was the one thing which did work well. Post software update my car now seems to behave more like what you're describing.

The other dy I took back my car from the dealer, unfortunately they gave me no details whatsoever of what they’ve updated but, according to the chat, basically almost everything such as vehicle dynamics (amps actual campaign), engine, gearbox (mine is a V6 auto), and….honestly I don’t know, sorry not being able to help.

After approx 700km of driving I can say the car is slightly different for the better, it seems more noisy from the outside (which I like), finally the gearbox behave almost as it should have been from the beginning and the engine and the gearbox seems more reactive even in tour mode, even the audio seems sounds better!!!

But I still have the sat nav maps updated at 2022 and they have no idea how tho have updated ones 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
