Emira debut at British GT Championship today

The Mahiki Racing GT4 Emiras finished 4th and 7th in GT4 Pro-Am in the first race and 4th and 5th in the second race in today’s opening round of the British GT Championship at Oulton Park.

I thought these things threw all sorts of electrical faults if you drove them in the rain??

… or spilled your drink on them at cars and coffee.

The race conditions were also atrocious, with a lot of it under yellow flags. They did good just to finish and in one piece.

Consistency in finishing at Oulton Park on Monday gave Mahiki a good haul of points and a great start in their British GT Championship(s) campaign.

After 2 races their drivers are 4th and 5th out of 10 pairs in the GT4 Pro-Am Drivers points table, 8th and 10th out of 17 pairs in GT4 Drivers overall and 7th out of 12 in GT4 Teams..

That is a fine performance from a rookie team finding their way in a new car, in my book.
