A friend told me the Lotus is adopting the latest technology from the Aviation Industry for the Parking Brake

Thanks @kbhoz, some more great shots!

This pre-production car has pedals stolen from the Evora I think. The FE production pedals are these:

pedals seem further apart for h&t vs. the Evora. its nice to be able to just tilt the foot to h&t but I suppose the spacing is the same for manual and auto, I expect they don't want drivers hitting the wrong pedal

A massive thank you to Lotus Melbourne (Simply Sports Cars) for hosting another Lotus Emira event in Melbourne today!

There was a huge amount of interest from both existing deposit holders and new interested parties with several new deposits being placed starting from the early morning.

There were five Emiras in total, four which were per-delivery customer cars and one dealer demo:
  • Seneca blue with black pack, alcantara, diamond cut wheels, yellow calipers
  • Magma red with black pack, red leather, gloss black wheels, yellow calipers
  • Nimbus grey with black pack, tan leather, diamond cut wheels, yellow calipers
  • Dark Verdant with lower black pack, tan leather, gloss black wheels, yellow calipers
  • Seneca blue with lower black pack, alcantara, silver wheels, yellow calipers (demo car)
A great range of colours and specifications to see in real life! I was highly surprised by how well the Magma and red leather worked together! Whoever ordered that specification is in for a real treat.

If you're quick you can head down and take a sticky beak in the South Melbourne showroom - they're open until 5pm!

Another good Event held the Lotus Melbourne (Simply Sports Cars) as mentioned by digilotus above.
Just some other pics I took today. Its so hard to get a true representation of the Magma Red and Dark Verdant under mixed lighting. I did my best to white balance but its not perfect. I thought the green is very dark but stylish and the Magma is also darker than I thought but I am sure it will pop in sunlight. In one of the photos you can see my Ardent Red Exige for comparison.
