Assetto Corsa Evo will come to PS5 eventually. It'll just be on PC first so you'll just have to wait a bit. You can connect a wheel and pedals (provided they're PS5 certified) and get the same experience. You just miss out on the modding.

I'm an avid sim racer, typically ACC and GT7. I've only played a little bit of AC back when it first came out. I want to say Overtake.gg (formely Race Department) has lots of (safe) AC mods/downloads: https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/categories/ac-cars.6

Is there a realistic Emira mod for AC? The ones from here, sound like they are on straight pipes or the max speed per gear are way off (one of them has a 345km/h in 6th gear). I've found a mod for my local track (Sydney Motorsport Park) and trying to find the car as well so I can practice before actual trackdays.

That's the best one I've found so far. The new AC Evo is coming out sometime in 2025 and will have the Emira. So I'm excited for that to come out.

Early access comes out this Thursday (Jan 16, 2025) and has the Emira confirmed! It'll only be on PC initially, but eventually make it's way to console when the full game releases (summer maybe?). This is the sim to get to drive the Emira.

Waiting to buy Tomorrow and then I will have it for the weekend, might as well enjoy this as my car sits in winter storage.

I will be running this on a few different displays, I have a 59 inch ultrawide display and also a Valve Index VR headset and Quest 3 headset, can't wait to try them all. But I really like VR for driving sims. I will be using a logitech steering wheel with 3 pedals on the floor.

Just did some initial laps. Drives somewhat similar to the custom models people made for AC. The engine noise to me doesn't sound like either the i4 or v6, but the blow off valve sounds means they tried to make it mimic the i4.

Honestly that sound is terrible. It doesn't even sound like an actual car, it's just a synthesizer. I really hope this isn't the final sound. Did you drive anything else? Do they all sound like this?

The new Forza Motorsport (no number anymore...it's now a continually-updated sim) has the Emira. I have driven it in my sim rig, and it's pretty close. Enjoyable to drive, and likes to step out quite a bit during quick transitions, just like in real life. Great brakes, and rewards smoothness.

I was initially surprised that they had it in automatic, and couldn't figure out which engine it was supposed to be (the turbo flutter made me think the I4, but there were only 6 gears and not 8). Then I realized they have both automatic and manual - Touring Suspension flavor is manual and Sport Suspension flavor is automatic. I didn't drive them back-to-back to see if I can tell a difference in handling.
I kinda expected the Emira to drive similarly to the Evora in the old Assetto Corsa, but the Emira in ACE was substantially less edgy. Will need some more seat time for sure.

I don't think their car audio on the handful of cars I've tried hits the mark. Disappointing. My YouTube channel shows a few other cars I've driven so you can have a listen for yourself.

I did notice this difference afterwards trying different cars too. I agree with your opinions.

It's pretty good IMO

I like the mod for AC better than what they came out with in EVO.
