@Shahaf2911 thanks for letting me know! I'm in the US for a few more days and can't get the car to my dealer but will report back end of April.

On the fast wiper point - I was told the same thing (don’t use auto just go straight to speed one and then two) but it doesn’t work. On my drive home from pick up in torrential showers there was no way to get the wipers into high speed and I never went anywhere near Auto. See wiper thread. So good news … car all fixed under warranty.
A/C fault was a broken pin in the connector - some monkey at the factory must have bent and broken the pin.
Coolant leak - now this is potentially more serious issue for everyone on here … my coolant radiators were damaged. Now either these were stones in which case this is a major design fault issue or were again damaged during build at factory.
Fast wash wipe - still no fix for this although was told as long as you dont put it in auto / intermittent you can put it straight into fast mode and should work.
I know there is a separate thread but wanted to answer here to keep the context. On the fast wiper point - I was told the same thing (don’t use auto just go straight to speed one and then two) but it doesn’t work. What kind of leather care are you using? The leather looks like it's very dry.Has anyone else who has owned their car for a few months noticed issues with the leather? I’ve done about 1200 miles, car isn’t used daily.
It’s clear the tan leather is taking onboard some colour from my jeans. None of which are brand new (quite the opposite in fact!).
Of more concern is the piping is showing signs of wear already.
Curious if this is happening to others with leather seating?
Unfortunately that’s looks like it’s going to be a wear issue because it’s slightly raised. Wearing jeans especially if they have raised studs on the pocket edges will increase the risk of scrapping them. I learned this that hard way one time on pristine white leather seats. I’ve got tan leather in mine and so far it’s ok but I can see it slightly wearing/darkening on the edge.Has anyone else who has owned their car for a few months noticed issues with the leather? Thought I should post an update. Lotus have no interest in sorting out or even acknowledging the problems. Over 20 times my wife has tried to contact them which is really poor considering she collected it from the factory. However, she contacted Rybrook Solihull/Blythe Valley and they agreed to have a look within a couple of days. Meanwhile we realised the DAB radio wasn't working either. Anyway Rybrook found the gas was low in the a/c but it still didn't work after topping up and then they identified a corroded relay which needed cleaning and now it works for the first time. DAB is a known problem apparently and there's no fix yet for that or the wipers. I've tried all the work arounds for the wipers but they just revert to slow making it tricky to drive in some conditions. I can see this becoming a major recall issue in the future. Such a shame on what is otherwise a brilliant daily.@NeilS Sad to hear your experience is spoiled by the AC issue. But it's getting interesting now. Mine was working for several months and over 3500km. Out of a sudden it stopped.
@digilotus I don't think its a gas leak. My dealer was able to bring it back to life with an error code reset after connecting their laptop. The ECU reported the AC as blocked by the onboard systems.
Unfortunately it only worked for a few hours and is back to not working again. Dealer visit coming soon when picking up the Evora...
With regards to the wipers. Latest update from the dealer is that they are waiting for new wiper motors to come in and yes there are delays. The software needs to be done together with the new motor apparently.Thought I should post an update. Lotus have no interest in sorting out or even acknowledging the problems. I wonder how much has to be dismantled to get the motor out. With regards to the wipers. Latest update from the dealer is that they are waiting for new wiper motors to come in and yes there are delays. The software needs to be done together with the new motor apparently.
Not too much, just some plastic covers and bolts.I wonder how much has to be dismantled to get the motor out.
Well, I open the front bonnet yesterday and had to reach over (because I’m short) was concerned about scratching the panels. Things are never the same when all the panels and parts are dismantled.I wonder how much has to be dismantled to get the motor out.
They can replace said bolts with non corroded ones while they’re at itNot too much, just some plastic covers and bolts.
Easy job.I wonder how much has to be dismantled to get the motor out.
Smashed windscreen by any chance.
