How easy are these to install? Another thread suggested the whole airbag had to be removed?

airbag removal is pretty easy. 2 springs to depress and a connector. When dealing with airbags it's prudent to disconnect the negative terminal on the battery for extra safety. Airbag removal is about a 2-minute job.
