I had ordered a set from @GRP and just installed them. They are SO much nicer than the factory haptic buttons. No more accidentally changing the center display because the palm of my hand brushed across the buttons. I think they look better too. I always thought the haptic buttons looked kind of cheap.

I had to wait several months after ordering mine for them to arrive, and that was before the tariffs. Who knows how long it's going to take now, although it might be faster oddly enough since from what I'm reading, Chinese manufacturers are desperate for orders.

Might be a stupid question, but is there any way to disable the touch function on the stock buttons?

I recently received my after purchase survey from Lotus and I added in the comments about this steering wheel haptics issue. Here is the reply I received yesterday from the “Field Operations Manager”:

“Thank you for your feedback on the steering wheel touch / swipe control. This has been fed back to the engineering teams for future product enhancement consideration.”

Hopefully a future update will give us a disable option.

I like the look of the stock controls, but they are totally style over function. Every time I try to change to the next song I end up on navigation or some other setting.

OP in late March. Tariffs landscape changed soon after. Possibly the cost situation has changed.

The OP’s plan didn’t survive the encounter with reality.

If @GRP and @Aerie (who were able to source these previously) couldn’t get them (even before the tariff situation), then the entire world’s supply has been hoovered up already.

Now, with the tariff nonsense, it would seem that those of us who didn’t get in first time round are in for an indeterminate wait.

They are still available. I bought some brand new ones when I was in China for my own personal. Now to import in bulk is whole different dynamic which probably OP does not want to deal with since the tariffs.
