Hello,
First post…
Just got my hands on an emira…
A little bit of background on me
4-5 years of experience on the track , scca , pca and nasa racing license
Raced spec Boxster and SMT
Not the fastest but a decent front pack
I have no experience in wrenching , always did support…
Evira I got has touring suspension and it felt meh compared to the sport on Michelin cup…
Anyhow
Thinking about upgrades before taking it to the track
I am thinking:
-New set wheels with tire for the track , 19, 18 ? What tire ?
-New suspension : Nitron, jubu, ohlins?
-track alignment
-rotors / calipers/ pads, line , brake fluid, which one ?
-Jubu aero vent to cool the brakes ?

No need for more power

Re suspension , would be nice to be able to tune the suspension back and forth easily between track and road/canyon ride with my second set of wheel/ tires

Any pointers and recommendations appreciated

And of course Tillet seat . The oem are so high and harness is needed for proper track g force
Any pointers for a harness bar. I can ask TC design in California

Looks like you're in the Bay Area - GRP (Gregs Race Parts) and TrackSpec should be two resources you can connect with for all those needs. I think there might be an upcoming partnership with JUBU too - since the JUBU team just came by and spent time both with GRP and TrackSpec.

There's also a track thread going on that could be helpful too. https://www.emiraforum.com/threads/who-here-has-tracked-their-emira.5066
