car alarm went off about 4 times according to my other half and now no power had to unlock door with emergency key and pop boot with cable, no ignition at all, no dash lights nothing.

Had software updates done at B&C on Wednesday 1st Nov but car has been driven daily since then. Lotus recovery coming between 6-7pm today with a prestige technician whatever that means.

Anything i can try in the meantime?

Make sure the battery is fully charged is the only thing I can think of.

Gutted for you - I hope it gets sorted quickly

Try disconnecting the battery for at least 30-45 mins. If you can charge it, give it a decent time on a charger or battery conditioner.

sound like the alarm drained the battery, can you check for voltage? or hooking it up to a charger like Tom suggested.

any tip on the correct

As well as the above the manual also says:
Switch off all electrical loads and remove the keyfob from the vehicle cabin.

That’s right, you need to let the systems settle for about 30 mins after you turn off the ignition before you disconnect the battery.

But if it’s already dead and nothing happens when you try to turn it on, you can probably skip this as the car is already unpowered.

When I collected my car (Hethel), and I got home, I set about fitting the charge lead for the trickle charger.

Undid the battery cover and one of the battery terminals was completely loose, not even finger tight. might be worth checking.

All sorted. Lotus recovery came out and the battery was very low, he jumped it with a power pack, positive to the battery and negative to an engine ground in case you're wondering :). He said the alternator was providing a very good charge, left the car running, reset the window alignments. Car idled for about 20 mins and we turned it off and he monitored the shutting down of the car and the effect of that on the voltage readout, he saw nothing he was worried about and there was no noticeable draw at complete shutdown, think it was 0.02 completely off. Classed it as a 'no fault found' so i will just keep an eye on it.

I could have had a tech out quicker but the call handler wanted to send someone familiar with the Emira so i had to wait longer. Was probably something anyone could have fixed but i was happy.

ive order myself a power pack so if it happens again i can do the same as he did and then will flag to dealer for fix.

That's good news. I have noticed that mine seems to drop voltage of around 0.1 volts in 24 hours. This could be due to the tracker drawing a current. I do keep mine on trickle charge most of the time. Maybe the 70 ah battery fitted is on the low side with all the electronics etc.

Be sure to put the car on a charger for a day or two. Just jump starting it and running it for 20 minutes will not charge the battery properly, it will only give it a static charge that will last very temporarily. It sounds like it needs a fall, proper charge, for at least 24 hours before you can trust that it won't do it to you again.
