Took my car to the dealer yesterday for recalls (water shield and EVAP canister check). While there I asked if they had the maintenance schedule for the Emira. Id only seen them for the Evora so far. Been wanting this as a guide since I do all my own maintenance.
Also included a matrix that shows the intervals and the reference cost they charge for each service. Your dealer may charge a different number of hours.
Feel free to add official/good threads that reference some of these maintenance items.

Example:
Good oil change guide/video

Dear god, the price difference on the 4yr service. US $2600(~£2030), UK £1280. I thought things were cheaper in the US :)

Some things. Fuel, guns, etc. Maintenance on cars from the UK? Not one of those things! 😅

(Source: I have been afflicted with a variety of cars from that side of the pond, and the cost of the brake job for my Jaguar XJR would have purchased four quite nice AR-15 rifles.)

They did tell me those USD$ amounts were just a guide or something. Hopefully so as they seem excessive to me.
$180 for just an oil filter and the oil! For some reason the exact same service (labor cost) at 1 year is more than the 1000 mile one too.

Interested to see that there is a manual transmission oil filter. Never heard of that on a manual. I assume its the same as the Evora 400GT.
Info on changing it here:

Hmm...That seems somewhat fiddly from reading the LT thread, especially with the part about priming it without the official Lotus tool. Thank you for the info; I had no idea that filter was a thing.

FWIW, I heard back from my Canadian dealer today and was told, the "first service" following the exact same checklist that Aero posted at the start of this thread (the first 2 pages; thanks Aero!) would cost Can$536.91 (plus tax), broken down at my request (since I asked about me supplying the appropriate oil/filter), as $321 labour and $215.91 parts. I assume most of the $215.91 is to cover the oil/filter, since there's usually always a small add-on for "shop supplies" or the like. I was expecting more for labour, from a dealership that typically services Lambos, Rolls Royce, Bentley and Aston Martin vehicles. They also said they'd do the "track inspection" n/c for me (included with the first service), since many tracks require a signed inspection form, from a qualified shop.

That said, I do my own oil/filter changes (and think I do better than most dealerships, given how long I let the oil drain) and can and do look at the rest, so I'll be filling out this "first inspection" myself. It helps when my dealer is a 3-hour-one-way drive away. I may be inviting an interesting warranty fight, if it comes down to that, but I expect an oil analysis would back me up, plus my many years of being a "back-yard mechanic" to prove my experience servicing my own vehicles, were this ever worthwhile money-wise to go to court. No doubt others won't want to take that risk so that's just me.

Just keep your reciepts for the part/oil you buy & use. That has proven to be sufficient in the UK when dealers question non-dealer work.
A picture of the oil draining, with GPS enabled, will also place location & timestamp on the photo

It's your choice of course, but in addition to the risk of an argument over warranty, for the sake of a couple of hundred bucks you risk missing out on software upgrades, recall work, etc. Every time I've taken my Emira to the dealer there has been some additional work like a recall.

How close are you to your dealership? I’d go in for software updates or (moreso) recalls, more often if not for the 6 hour round trip drive. Aside from enjoying working on my own vehicles (doing something with my hands instead of from behind a desk), it’s more than just a couple hundred bucks which I can easily afford. My local Mercedes dealer sees me frequently. I’m often just admiring the cars on their showroom floor, when checking out and discussing the latest innovations with their sales people, that can be tempting (I’m due for a new one). The same when at my Lotus dealership when picking up my Emira: my spouse had to convince me it was a silly idea to purchase a low-mileage used Bentley convertible as a winter vehicle to replace my then 7+ year-old Mercedes, which I initially justified because of its insulated lined roof. It’s particularly tempting with their vehicle line-up: a Rolls-Royce or Lamborghini aren’t in the cards for me, but I love Bentley and Aston Martin. Come to think of it, it’s likely a GOOD idea they’re so far from home; my marriage could be in jeopardy (lol).

In prepping for my (hopeful) Emira, I created a maintenance schedule in Google Sheets, based off the above PDF that @Aero posted. It's a first draft, but let me know what you guys think and if my checkboxes for the maintenance are off, or mistakes/missing items.

The tire and brake sections will autofill 'mm' after you type a number in them for column c. The link below will attempt to make a copy of the sheet. There is also some javascript on the backend to autofill the 'mm' in certain cells:

Link

EDIT: I'm going to add an automation centered around the mileage (at the very bottom of the sheet) so that it highlights any overdue or upcoming service. I'll also add a secondary sheet where you can scan and attach/link service record receipts stored in your Google Drive...organized, somehow(?)...haven't gotten that far yet lol.

EDIT2: I'm nearly finished, I just need to complete the conditional formatting on all the columns. Doing it via the Format Painter keeps messing things up so I have to do it one column at a time. I'll report back when it's ready to try out.

EDIT3: It's ready to go with the link just above. I'll try and make a quick tutorial on how to use it in the near future. HTH!

Our car taste Venn diagrams must be similar.

I’m a huge fan of XJR’s particularly the XJK 100. What year and color is yours?
