So I brilliantly lost one of the bolts for my engine cover while swapping on my CF one... Does anyone know the exact spec for them/where I can get one? TIA

M6x20 outer ones (12) of them
M6x40 inner 2.
Torque 10 N*m
From service manual

Hopefully it didnt fall inside the supercharger. or down in the bay somewhere.
Doesnt really give the thread pitch if fine or coarse thread. Can remove another one and take to fastener place to match it.

The service manual PDF is available for owners to download from the Lotus Vehicle Service Information Centre. There is fee to download, and you’ll need to enter a VIN.

Was hoping to get this today myself. Has anyone had any issues recently with the Lotus Service site? I can't seem to get as far as the card payment page without getting this error.

Yes, I've also tried several times to subscribe and keep getting stuck with the very same frustrating message. Seems like the site doesn't even allow me to input my credit card information and I can't get beyond that page. I'm very curious to find out how other forum members have successfully subscribed and downloaded the manual. Can someone help us?.

Believe it or not, this exact same thing happened to me while swapping to the GRP carbon fiber engine cover.

A single bolt wasn't threaded properly from the factory, and the ball end was stuck inside the grommet. When I took the lower cover off, I carefully pulled it with both hands, but it still managed to slip out of my fingers and into the abyss of the engine bay.

I just got my car back from being serviced yesterday, but I didn't mention it when I brought it in because I was kind of an emergency situation where I had a flat tire and roadside assistance helped me bring it to the dealer on a flatbed truck and the bolt was the last thing on my mind.

When I finally remembered about it, I was hoping the mechanic working on my car would find it and put it back into the cover, since I had also happened to request an oil change that required removing the undertray. To my dismay, I checked my engine cover and the bolt's still missing.

Did you end up ordering a replacement? I'm about ready to admit defeat and pay for a new one, just not sure how to go about it.
