So a couple of weeks I decided to check my oil level after hitting the 2500 miles, I'm please to say it was spot on, on the half way point.
However I didn't click the lid back in properly and promptly lost it down the back of the engine no problem I though I can reach in a get it, well it took nearly an hour of climbing around the engine bay and finally implementing the old bent wire into a hook trick to retrieve the lid.
So that got me thinking the lid needs fixing with a cable tie, so I have come up with the following adaption.
I didn't want to drill a hole in the top of the lid so I fixed a cable tie adhesive mount to the underside of lid and then drilled a small hole to thread the cable tie trough the main engine bay housing
Simple and non visual
