Has anyone looked into getting separate fog lights installed on their cars. I love the look (and functionality) of front fog lights on cars. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks

I think that button/switch for fog lights is for the rear fog lights that they put on the European cars, but they left off the spec for the American (or I guess North American) cars. Don't know if you might still be able to use the switch to control the front..Has anyone looked into getting separate fog lights installed on their cars. Probably white to match as closely as I can the headlights.. It's less about functionality and more for the looks, but of course functionality helps. Are you thinking of white or yellow fog lights?
For functionality, amber/yellow would be better for cutting through fog. White would function more like a driving light, and the Emira's lights are already second to none in that regard. A low and wide beam amber light would help to illuminate the side of the road in low-visibility fog conditions. We get fog here and white lights reflect back into your face and create quite a bit of glare. If you're driving in fog, it's nice to be able to turn off the regular headlights, leave on the running lights and switch on the fog lights. Less glare, and you can actually see better.Probably white to match as closely as I can the headlights.. It's less about functionality and more for the looks, but of course functionality helps.

Agreed... I am leaning more for looks with some functionality built in.. I normally don't drive much at night anyway, but would be good to have the extra benefit..I'd certainly be interested in adding front fog lights to my Emira if anything aftermarket ever pops up. I can attest that the headlights already do a great job, I just think it'd add to the cool factor.
Mount them on the bonnet, install a 2” lift kit, bolt on some black fender flares, swap out the tires for what you see on most SUV’s, and voila, you have a great alternative to a Sterrato at 1/3rd the price!I think some thin horizontal fogs might look cool since it would match the headlight drl. I don’t get fog here so no real need for me.

How do I get on the wait list?
Agreed. Something similar to the Porsche 992 front lower air dam lights.I think some thin horizontal fogs might look cool since it would match the headlight drl. I don’t get fog here so no real need for me.
Good example.Agreed. Something similar to the Porsche 992 front lower air dam lights.

Now THERE'S something to create as an aftermarket item! @Aerie or @GRP if you can come up with an LED setup like this for both sides of the car, that replaces the factory pieces and comes with a complete installation kit including wiring, and has a feature of being able to switch the LED color to either white or yellow for fog as you like, you'd sell a LOT of them. I'd buy it!
