Installed EBC track pads on 1000 mile Emira so quite new discs. You will most like need to remove the positioning backer pad so that the pads will fit. Here is what happens if the figment is too tight. The sticker pad bunches up.

Just remove the sticker completely -- especially on track pads. It's not necessary and is just going to melt anyways.

Did you perchance find a graceful way to deal with the pins on the rear brakes? I also put in some track pads right around 1,000 miles and went to the track, and getting the rear pins seated was the most annoying part. All my punches are too long to be able to move a small hammer on the inside of the wheel, so I used a screwdriver bit from my drill which is shorter, but I also managed to hit my knuckles a few times with the hammer when doing that. Eventually managed to do it with the driver bit and using a small hammer sideways.
