The car’s sound into the game is a total mess. I am not even able to tell if they tried to replicate a V6 or 4 cylinders engine sound. There is a blowoff valve sound meaning a turbo presence but the 3D physic model show the v6 engine cover and even the manual car dont have the supercharger noise. I cannot see how this meet Kunos or Lotus license standard. It totally ruin kill the experience.

Keep in mind this is very early access. Basically an alpha build. A LOT will change over the next year leading to the true release of the game. Kunos has an amazing track record. AC and ACC started with one car and one track and were a mess. This will become an amazing platform.

I am an AC fan since early acces in 2015-2016 with the only car being a Lotus Elise as the first car. During the development they never changed a car’s sound. They improve the tires model and physic, they optimize fps and other little this and that but unfortunately I would be surprise if they correct their bad engine sound. I played yesterday with RSS studios cars in ac and kunos should hire them. Their cars are epic in every aspect !

You sound like a good candidate to send feedback to Kunos during early access. Only way they'll move on something is if the fans request it. Now's the time!

They did get rid of the blow-off/turbo-flutter sound. I never drove an Emira, but it does sound pretty close to some random YouTube videos of Emiras.

They fixed the black screen issue and I got a nice 10 FPS bump on my triple-screens. Looks like they're focusing their time on the important things. I'm happy I jumped on the Early Access, kinda fun seeing the sim getting polished like this.

It's not VR. He (is on this forum - won't reveal for privacy reasons) has triple 65" 4k displays and a gopro on his helmet for POV footage

Ah I was wondering how he did this. I cant see the seams between the screens

I was disappointed to see Lotus missing from Gran Turismo 7. I'm sure they were in older versions of the game.

Asus sells a bezel-free-kit (supporting only up to 27"), and one can DIY that from the right film (typically harvested from broken monitors or TVs). I have something similar and it works okay (mine is a pretty janky DIY). You can see in the video where it distorts the picture. I honestly am not sure if I prefer a thin black bezel or the distortion.

My mind is blown, I never noticed the evolution of home Sim racing until now.

When I first tried ACE with my PSVR2, it sat me backwards in the seat of the Emira, lol. I have a motion rig and that seemed to work just fine. I haven't tried it again since. But when I have time I'll give it another go. Game looks super promising!
