My Green Emira came with all black wheels. Thinking if adding some contrast by either replacing wheels or having them power coated bronze or a matte gold.
Couple of choices poorly photoshopped on my car. Gold front and bronze back

Anyone else done this IRL? Thoughts?

It is all personal to the person who owns Emira...
I never like black wheels and had a few vehicles that did and had them powder coated..
Nimbus Emira I ordered the light silver wheels and was all ready to change them.
But looking at car they are growing on me and may leave them for a year or so.
Any color other than Black I think wheel color would grow on you..
Just sudden change takes time and wish you well on what you select..

I'd lean towards gold for more contrast, but I'm not crazy about how it goes with the yellow calipers; the black wheels work well with the yellow calipers. I'd probably intend to change the caliper color if switching to gold wheels.

Bronze is my vote but it basically looks black after a week from all the brake dust. Maybe a matte copper color?

I will likely keep the black wheels for a while, and probably upgrade to the hawk brake pads to keep the dust to a manageable level.

Agree. I think a muted contrast would work with the dark verdant. You want contrast, but a bright color seems too stark to me. This is all preference of course.

Do you have a satin PPF? Looks a bit matte
great wheels!
Yeah I have matte ppf as in the bat mobile look earlier, just spiking things up with a set of gold wheels and all around gold Lotus badges

Hawk pads could be quite hard on the disc, at least it used to be. Try Dixcel M if you could find them, lowest dust pads for street use..

DV & Gold, but I'm biased....
