GRP Harness bar install

Sweet setup @Tracked Emira @GRP

Looks like you used a version of Quick Fit Pro, some good information here for those interested:

The harness used/pictured is a Schroth GT3 ASM harness, not the quick fit one.
These asm harnesses have the sewn in lap belt eyelets that allow them to be bolted into the factory bolt locations with the buckle on the inboard side and the belt on the outboard side. This keeps install nice and easy and then you dont need to readjust if you move the seat forward or backward. Also these mounting points are safe as they are the same as factory.
For those who will run Tillett seats we plan to offer a 5/6 sub belt bar to add in to their mounting kit to keep the install on a full harness kit easy as well.

If it has a roll bar you should be good. Adjust the harness so the lap belt fits as low as possible. That will hopefully keep the pressure off your organs if you should need the harness. It's hard to do with a 4 point, but with effort you can do pretty well. And make sure that you get the straps centered on the HANS so it holds if you need it.
Its worth noting, the harness that he has is the 'road legal' harness not just because of some buckle mechanism that is understood by safety crews, but also I believe they have a built in 'stretch' mechanism that mimics the 3 point factory system that won't stop your body abruptly snapping your head forward putting strain on your neck.

I'm not saying a Hans isn't a good idea anyway, but there are belts/harnesses out there that do protect the driver in this way.

Can’t wait for a 5/6 point solution. Some DE groups won’t pass 4pts some will accept only Schroth 4 pts that are vehicle specific approved by Schroth like the gt3 in the gt3. And some require FIA approved harnesses. I just don’t want to spend a bunch of money on something that might limit my options for track days. I’ve gotta jump on the weekends that work for the family schedule. #dadlife. Looks like I’ll be sliding around my stock seat for this season unless I can find a sub bar solution.

This is also considered street legal so it should pass any HPDE tech inspection, but probably good idea to get a HANS device. My crotch doesn't like a 5 point.
Anyone feel crotch happier in a 6 point?
