Hey mods, can we get regional sub forum sections?

Bumping this up... is it possible to split the US east coast into 3 regions? In an attempt to build real-world community, the existing zones are just too vast, plus the current ones don't really work based on the DC metro population center which is being split at the dividing line.

There should be three, the two existing (Northeast and Southeast) and a Mid-Atlantic one that includes all the states within the central eastern seaboard. So Virginia, Maryland, DC, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

@VL3X may have some thoughts on this as well, particularly where Delaware is concerned.

Agreed! A Mid-Atlantic sub would be great in addition to the current east coast subs we already have. Especially now since NA owners have taken delivery and we'll be organizing local meets and events. @supersix @Dragoon

Thanks!!

I know it probably seems like a weird ask to people from other countries, particularly in a UK/EU context, but the vastness of the US makes this sort of a necessity in order to build real-world community.

The Mid-Atlantic zone that I've described covers 128,016 square miles, or 331,564 square kilometers. That's roughly equivalent to all of the UK and all of Ireland, including all of both nations' islands and overseas territories (globally), all added up and put together.
