Hill assist brake

I know this has probably been discussed before but I cant find any threads.
Is it possible to de - activate the hill brake assist feature

my understanding is that you activate the hill assist by pushing hard on the brake pedal when the car is stopped on a hiil. there is no on/off switch in the car menu

I “think” I remember putting it in neutral while stopped deactivated hill assist. .
