Well if you guys want to ship them to me, I can reship them back out to you and help out

I may take you up on that offer

Side note.....have been emailing back and forth with tdi.....they are super quick and detailed in their responses. I see that as a great sign.

How do you know if your car is the 360bhp or 400bhp version in the uk?
If you bought your I4 in US and China, they are 400 hps, but if you buy in UK or anywhere else besides US or China, they will be 360hps.

"Yes, This will increase the turbo boost pressures, If we do release any update maps for this then we will contact you and you can update the tuning box remotely using the TDI Tuning App on your phone.

We have a development day next Tuesday booked in for more map adjustments and work on the Emira so we will contact you and let you know how this goes and the outcome here"

Surely the piggy back for the 360hp version can raise the boost and fuel enough to take it to the 440hp as stated for the 400hp version piggyback. The factory 400hp Emira would surely only be getting this extra power from a little extra boost pressure and fuelling anyway.

I'm not sure, as i don't know the metric exactly how they make the power increase safe. Remember they are using the factory tune and altering/spoofing it to get the higher numbers. I don't think the 360hp is going to get the same as the 400hp will as the baseline is different. The 360hp should get to the 400hp essentially but not equal the power the 400hp baseline will make. The factory map matters and that is what they are referencing off of and why they list projected hp for both variants which are not the same.

Must be done as a percentage gain rather than the piggyback actually telling the turbo to run more boost. My ECUMaster DET3 piggyback (as well as others) has the ability to control specific boost levels, which is why I thought you could just go straight to the 440hp. This being a new car probably doesn't allow for these older style piggybacks to work the same way.

Yes correct , it's not a piggyback based system or standalone. It's definitely working of the stock map with some tricks. It's a good temporary solution

Without logging interface like the JB4, TDI most likely will only up the boost slightly to be safe, so...
